That of Maria Serena, one of the heirs of the ancient Italian goldsmith’s art, is a passion that comes from afar:

I was ten when I entered the goldsmith laboratory for the first time with my mother.

I was fascinated by the fact that in such a messy environment and the black fingers of the craftsman, such sparkling and precious objects could spring.

The work of Maria Serena, one of the heirs of the ancient Italian goldsmith’s art, is a passion that comes from afar:

I was ten when I visited the goldsmith laboratory for the first time with my mother.

I was fascinated that, by such a messy room and by the dirty fingers of the craftman, could born such sparkling and precious  creations.”

I fell in love with engraving, attending the course for goldsmiths, where I experimented with ancient and extraordinary techniques. After several years of apprenticeship at Lombard artisan workshops, I refined various engraving techniques (calligraphy, satin finishing, shaping, scratching, shading), acquiring good practice in the ‘Ancient or Florentine style’.

So it was that I managed to gain the trust of the historic jewelry company Buccellati, which welcomed me among its suppliers and to which I still supply my workforce “.
